[QUOTE="WillyG4444, post: 5214329, member: 555671"] Well, I had another thread but after 4 bumps in a few days no one else responded, so I'm trying a new thread in this section. Here's the deal: Origin of problem: When I had stock head unit and stock speakers in my car, one day when I was driving, the driver's side speakers cut off. However, if I made a sharp turn sometimes they would cut back in, but if I made a turn in the opposite direction, they would cut out again. I thought this happened because my girlfriend was blasting the speakers one day, and when I turned on the car the next time after, the radio was not turned off, and the stereo was BLASTING when I turned on the car, so I thought that could've damaged something? Next, I replaced my front speakers for a pair of CDT components. I thought it was the speakers. Still have the stock head unit, and the same problem exists, however now the sound does not cut back in on a sharp turn. If you fade the sound to the front components only, and the DRIVER'S side, then switch to front components only on the PASSENGER'S side, you hear that the DRIVER'S side speakers have about 1/6 the output of the PASSENGER'S side. I originally thought the channel was blown in the head unit, but maybe it is a wiring problem? I have the head unit out, and am looking at the speaker wiring harness, but I have no clue how to diagnose if it is a speaker wire. My question remains, how do I test out each wire to see what the problem is? I never tried to solve a problem like this before so I'm pretty newb to it.
