What if we are having a legitimate discussion of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and wanted to discuss how Twain humanized n-word Jim and exposed the fallacies of the racist assumptions of slavery? If you are referring to the N word no longer being allowed, I think its fairly self explanatory. If you want clarification on a specific aspect of the rule, I cannot guess as to what that aspect would be.
I think the best explanation is, yes there will be times the mod staff will need to make a judgment call. If you think we *might* judge something you say as violating the rule, simply find another way to express yourself.
Hopefully that clears things up.
well said. What if we are having a legitimate discussion of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and wanted to discuss how Twain humanized n-word Jim and exposed the fallacies of the racist assumptions of slavery?
Is that going to be allowed?
I think maybe your new rules are going to limit serious literary discussion here in the lounge.
First off, there are perhaps 2-3 people that post in the lounge that know what a literary discussion is.What if we are having a legitimate discussion of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and wanted to discuss how Twain humanized n-word Jim and exposed the fallacies of the racist assumptions of slavery?

Second, none of those people would have a literary discussion on caraudio.com when there are hundreds of better venue's to peruse the discussion.
