I wouldn't risk it. $5 for thermal epoxy glue vs. possible $80 cost for repairing amp by KB Audio. I think it's worth the wait //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.
well then i would say just use some of whatever kind of thermal paste.
and maybe something like a thin cardboard or rubber/foam shim between the bar and the fet to give it plenty of hold down pressure and it "should" work just fine.
im just wondering how she dropped if hard enough to dislodge 2 fets that were being held down by a bar and were basically glued down with thermal pad shiot.
in any case make sure to clean the fet and the heat sink with alcohol or something like it before putting on any other thermal paste.
well if it is the 2 coming off then they should be fine after being re-attached.
and you might not need any kind of shim if just the bar will hold it tight, i was just thinking that most ones i have seen the fets are attached using some relatively thick thermal pads, so just a thin layer of paste might not be thick enough to get the bar to keep pressure on it.
