Even for me, and I built it. This is much more uniform so it should be easier on the eyes.This is what I want to do. I want to knock out the middle support and put a new piece of 1/2&quot; plywood to cover that whole section so that I can lower my monitor to eye-level.I can deal with the aesthetics. I was just wondering if anyone would think it would weaken the integrity of my desk that much. (I&#039;m talking about removing the one piece of wood in between the Keyboard/Mouse support.)</blockquote>
