yea its not very far at all from my house as well. It sucks because he just had his best year and was champ baileys protage, he was gonna be sick

it really sucks. he had a great future. 25 years old. that broncos secondary has to be sick to their stomachs. this really puts being knocked out of the playoffs into perspective.

Williams, Javon Walker, and Brandon Marshall were leaving Carmelo Anthony's New Year's Eve party and they were loading the Hummer limousine to head to Allen Iverson's party when Brandon recommended they should leave due to "gang bangers coming" but it was too late for Williams who was killed by the many bullets in the drive-by. He supposedly died in the lap of Javon Walker.

they were trying to be really hush hush on who else was injured. they did report that javon was not hit. with his friend in his lap, it may not have mattered to him anyway. we seem to be a bad city for this. last year a nugget got shot leaving the paladium.

they have footage of him walking into denver general covered in darrents blood. javon is okay physically, but as DBfan187 said, he'll never be the same mentally.

I think the suspects and reasons for the shooting up to this point are unknown. So saying that they got shot just because of the loss is probably incorrect.

Basically between those 3 guys were the entire future of our franchise. I we'll here more details in the days to come but I hope the killers are brought to justice.

I seen this on the espn the day it happened. Terrible news, and I really still cant believe it. That kid had hella talent and a bright future a head of him. I mean WTF is wrong with this world. RIP Darrent Willams, you will truely be missed.
