Sold Dentist Bill Sale!! RE, Alpine, Phaze

Well, I had to go to the dentist today so that means extra stuff will have to go!

First off is a set of Alpine Type X Comps. I bough these off of e-bay about a month or so ago because I'm an idiot! For explanation see here. These are BNIB, I only opened the box to verify the contents. They have never seen any power. For more info on these go here. I paid $220 shipped so how about $200 shipped for these.

Next I have a pair of Phaze mids, model #MW-64. Here are some specs I pirated from another member. Some people call these the poor mans Lotus. Personally, because I'm an idiot, I never got to hear these. They do get very good reviews though. I do have some more pics, and just to let people know these are not in the best of shape. Mechanically they are fine, but they have been passed around the boards and they don't look really pretty.SOLD!!

And last I have my 12" RE SE sub. For thoes who don't know about these please go to www.reaudio.com and do some research. All of the specs are there as well. I have had this sub for about 2 years and I love the way it sounds. I had it in an ABC box and it pounded! Low and Loud!! I hate to see this go, but my teeth hurt!! SOLD!!

Honestly I have no idea, I haven't had the chance to listen to either set. I bought these based on reviews I have read. Try doing a search on the speaker section here for some comparison threads. I'm sure there are many, and for what it's worth, I hear the Rainbow set is VERY nice.

As much as I want thoes XXX mids I just can't force myself to get them! How is the midrange on them? How high will they play in an active system?

I have never heard them, But I hear very good things about them.

They get very low, cover lowen to mid, I hear your are supposed to use a large format tweeter when going active with them. I forget what they cut off @..
