Small amps like that can be used anywhere with a 3.5mm jack like beer said.

Also, for the power source for the amp, can you just plug a micro usb to a usb that is wired to a battery bank or how does it get power? I am actually interested in this e12 btw. Been looking at the e10k for a while.

It has a battery but I'm not sure how many hours it lasts (don't remember), and it charges through a micro USB just like any android phone. I want to say it's close to about 8 hours on a full charge.
