While I agree this thread is a step in the right direction, other than tarnishing his name on this forum (which he could always create a new one if he wanted to keep using the classifieds, unless he uses a static IP and someone bothers to check it) and maybe a few other forums, I don't see how it's going to help the guy get his money back...
When I was scammed by a fellow who didn't send me a $200 UHF radio I had purchased from him, I looked up his phone number and address...I also found out he was an EMS volunteer that posted on a local message board. I joined that message board and posted for all of his friends to see that he wasn't to be trusted online and how his word meant shit. I would call his house...again...again...and again //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif In the end, I feel that I got more than my $200 out of it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
I realize not all those options are available, but frankly, I doubt he gives a **** unless you bring the fight to his doorstep.
