Selling a used Dell XPS 600 with ViewSonic 20.1" VX2025wm LCD monitor. The computer needs a motherboard, but everything else works fine. Selling the monitor and computer for 350

I will also include the game Crysis and Call of Duty World at War for free, which played well on this gaming rig.

Here are the specs:

Intel Pentium D 840 Extreme Edition Dual Core with HT technology (3.2-3.6Ghz)

2GB DDR2 SDRAM at 667mhz

Dell USB Keyboard

Dual 256MB Nvidia Geforce 7800 GTX with SLi Technology

Serial ATA Raid 0 with Dual 250Gb hard drives

Dell 13 in 1 Media Card Reader

MS Windows Media Center Edition 2005

48x CD-RW and 16x DVD +/-RW

Creative X-Fi Sound Card

This computer only needs a new motherboard which can be bought for relatively cheap on ebay or through Dell's Refurb service. Basically I'm selling the computer for 250 and the monitor for 150, still cheap even though it needs a component, plus I'm throwing in a few newer games.

I will include the manuals and CDs and Receipt I received with this computer.

Trying to get this off my hands ASAP, but would like to keep a smooth transaction if you are interested (not rushing in or out of things). If you are interested, let me know, you can PM me or reply here, I can PM you my number and we can talk over the phone if you have any more questions.

Thanks and peace.

Forgot to add this computer has a dual TV tuner card which lets you pause, record, and watch live TV on two channels at once. Bump!
What do you need to be able to do that? A DVR? Or do you just hook up any TV to it? Or is it through the internet? Also, got pics? This could work as a backup computer, since I have a spare mobo laying around.

All you do is hook the cable that comes out of you wall into the back of the computer. Windows Media Center has it's own guide and system for recording shows, pausing them, etc. It's very very simple to use, it's simply a DVR on your computer. You can also burn your shows your record onto DVDs to watch them on a DVD player if you want. This computer only takes dell xps motherboards, which are about 50-110 dollars on ebay or through dell.

I'm willing to sell the desktop for 150+shipping, the monitor for 150+shipping, and the games for 60 plus shipping.

This is soooo cheap for such a high end computer, all you need to do is search around for a motherboard and you have a 700-800 dollar computer for 250-300.

Why would it only take Dell motherboards? Is it a custom cpu just for Dell or something? Or is it a problem with fitting it in the case?

I think it deals with the PSU unit, I'm not sure exactly. You could try your spare motherboard, but it may get shorted out. If I were you I'd play it safe and just buy the refurb online. If you're buying this computer for 350 shipped with monitor and all, you're getting one crazy deal, all you'll have to do is find a motherboard obviously.
