Is it alright to keep one of these as a secondary batt in the trunk?

Seems like it is a "spillable" battery, however has a little "drain" in it.

This is an AGM battery, and fully sealed. Perfectly safe for the trunk.

indeed, can be mounted in any position, but upside down isnt recommended..... these are second shelf which is equivalent to b stock....came off the line without a handle in most cases, ive been told that they may ave a surface scratch, but i havent seen any yet. rival, for that many, id meet you half way. just gotta let me know soon. these have a 3 month warranty as well....

absolutely bro, that wouldnt be a problem at all. I can use my friends truck, so transporting a large amount of them isnt an issue at all.
