OK, its time for me to get a new system i have been reading these boards for a while now and here is some possible setups i am interested in, i have never heard any of these subs before so thats why i am asking the opionion. Also these subs with be in a box that is sealed 1.25cf per chamber its the only box tha i can fit in my vehicle and i already have it so im gonna stay with it...

ok the firts setup is:

2 ascendant audio atlas 12's powered a profile ap2000, which puts out 320X2 wrms at 4 ohms

total cost ~515 before shipping

second option:

2 13Ov.2 and and the nine.1 combo from elemental designs package

total cost 600 before shipping

third option:

2 shivas and the profile ap2000

~425 before shipping

Those are basically what im looking at right now, what i would like to know out of these three options with the box i have which setup will have best sql... also other suggestions are also welcome for around the same price range... thanks

only one member has an atlas so far and i dont

think he's installed it yet so no one can comment

on that setup...

the one with the shivas sounds promising though...

Yeah....hard call to make because so many of the products are "new". The 13O's just came out (are they even out yet?) and the Ascendent stuff was just released as well. Not too many people that have enough experience with either to make an educated decision.

ok, i have been doin a little more research and found a couple more dual sub setups and some single sub setups for around the same price, and it seems like people on this forum have most of the products so ill list them and any input is greatly aprreciated, i still want to know which is gonna be the best sql setup, heres the other things i have came up with:

1.) 2 re se's with the viper 1200.1 amp ~560 before shipping

and some single sub setups:

2.) 1 xxx, 1 idmax, 1 type x, 1 brahma or 1 9500

those would all be powered by a hifonics 1500, or a viper 1200.1 whichever amp is better lol, except for the mtx which is only a single 4 ohm it would be powered by the ap2000 (960wrms@4ohm)

OK, once again looking for the best sql setup out of all those and the previous stated ones in this post, also i mite be able to have a ported box if i go with a 1 sub setup due to limited trunk space but that would be a while so i could get enough money to have some1 build it for me seeing as how i have no tools or previous experience building boxes, so for now just compare those as sealed 1.25cf. Still open for any other suggestions under $700, thanks

i could be wrong but i think i remember someone saying someone at RE told em (lol) that 2 re se's get louder then 1 xxx, but id prolly go with xxx, for both sq and spl, if you want SQ id go with brahama or idmax, the type-x really slams also, and you could prolly get 2 of em for just a little more then price of 1 xxx/brahma depending on size, but eathier way u go i doubt ull be disapointed in ur choice .

edit* oh ya and that 9500 would really slam also, if you want big spl id go with 9500.

thanks for the reply but im pretty sure im getting 4 RE12's now, unless anyone thinks this wont be louder than any of the previous stated setups. thanks
