I'm having a super tough time deciding on a set of speakers to run in my car. I've decided since the truck is so big ('05 Infiniti QX56) I am going to upgrade the speakers in the rear doors to a decent set of components (nothing as expensive as the fronts).
So my choices:
Hertz HSK165 - $250-$300
DLS UP6 - $330 - I ran these previously in my Audi and liked them however am considering going for something different.
DLS Iridium 6.2 - $500
Boston Acoustics SPZ60 - $550
Boston Acoustics Pro60 - $300
I am planning on using an Arc Audio KS300.4 to power the speakers. With the more expensive speakers, the Boston Acoustics SPZ60, and the DLS's Iridiums, am I really going to notice a difference paying twice the amount of say the Hertz HSK165's?
I listen to all types of music. Mostly, I want a speaker that can get loud, sound natural, and fill the entire vehicle with sound that not only myself, but the passengers can enjoy. Not that this probably matters, but I will have (1) 12 or 13 inch JLW7 or else an IDMax 12 or FI Q 12 to take care of my bass needs.
Argh - I can't decide!!
