Somebody should have told your dad to pull out, but did they? Apparently not.

I think Zanardi's wreck was worse, but just goes to show that the wreck doesn't need to be that bad to die. It was a nasty wreck nonetheless. Rip Paul Dana.

Frist off earnhardt's crash was really bad. He hit the wall going almost 200mph strait on. I do agree that Paul Dana's crash did seem to be worse. Also, Dale Earnhardt got nudged by another driver which sent him into the wall. It had nothing to do with him turning in the wrong direction.

Exactly, too many variables in the Earnhardt crash. The one thing that is good (if you can see any good in this) is they died doing what they loved.

zanardi did have a bad wreck, but at least he is still alive. i saw a guy at laguna seca in a champ car, in the corkscrew (where zanardis most famous pass is), and he lost electronics and went into the cement barricades at the bottom of the corkscrew. worst wreck i have ever seen. it killed the rookie in the car. one of roger penskes guys.

Did you see Bodines truck wreck a few years back? That was ugly as hell. How he lived I do not know.

people blame everything but speed for that accident. i dont care what you are driving, if you are going at 180 mph straight into a wall, you are either going to be dead or end up in critical condition, but you arent going to walk away from that.

the harness and hans devices protect your body from moving, but cant keep your internals from moving, which is what killed earnhardt.
