what was cheaper and sounds better? just wondering

A set of coustic mids that i currently run,

The lower end Diamonds I heard,

Lower end rainbows

Bravox's midbass set (unsure of the model, I helped install them in a mini cooper months ago)

The extremi's can sound as good with a 2khz x-over setting

poly mids sound decent and cost a fraction of the price, just have to watch for the tinsel slap

Morel makes good stuff, unsure on price comparisons

and my all time fav the DYNaudio MW160 (I heard these in an SQ car that was at finals) Still dont know the price.

Sometimes I feel like doing that to my Lotus Reference components too!!! They are difficult speakers to use.

when it was all said and done the lotus had some revenge.

I have pretty much given up on these fXXXing speakers. Either they have serious design faults or quality control problems.

They are just terrible...Glad to see I am not the only one. What I still find funny is another member here swears by them, but yeat he has had major issues with his stuff too LOL!!! Just trash them.

i've NEVER had any serious issues with any of my lotus'. and i've owned all 4 speakers from their lotus line. i guess you guys got unlucky. not only that i haven't even read of any issues in any of the forums.

My boy had some lead slapping issues with his, since has moved onto Dayton rs180's. I cant say I have any complaints about the CW21's though.
