DDS4 or JL 450/4?

I don't know much about DD amps. The power ratings are better on the DD vs the JL. I still have to call and get a price on the DD. How clean are these amps for pushing components?

IMHO the DDS4 is perfect if you are running active to your components. It allows you to send more power to your mid bass/mid range drivers while sending less to the tweeters.

Talked to a local shop who sold both.. they recommended the JL over the DD... which is odd because they normally push DD products.

They quoted me 495.00 for the DDS4 and 625.00 on the JL.
