seeing has how only steve has his yet and has tested them I dont think any of us can answer your question but it will mostly depend on build and power if anything

I would have to give the nod to DD, they seem to be very meter friendly.

Its not all about the sub when your talking about the meter..........the car and the install are important if not more important than the brand/model of sub you are running. If you plan to compete you must test and then test some more.

And what do you base your conclusion that what you read on another forum the Fi BTL "might get louder"?

You still have too many variables.....how much power......how big a box...tuning...kind of car. Not to mention the only people to hear the new BTLs are SM and the guys who made 'em.

I really am amused by the people with answers/guesses, when virtually nobody has any experience with one of the two speakers in question here yet.

Given that the new BTL has been out what, like a week and a half... this is a pretty silly comparison thread.

i'm curious to know how everyone seems to know too..

and for those without some common sense, assume variables: assume hes building the ideal box with the ideal amount of power in a specific car, which one would put out better numbers.. its a pretty straight forward comparison of the two woofers
