Sold DD9510 w/ RE MT Softpart $200 SOCAL

I'm completely baffled why this hasn't sold, so I'm creating a new thread for it. $200 picked up, FIRM. I am in the San Gabriel Valley area and go back to SD on the weekends quite a bit.

I bought it from Coreyjerome on here a few years back and ran it for about 2 months in a 1cf sealed box. Never ended up building a box or getting a bigger amp for it and got out of SPL. DVC2.

FWIW it's worth here's the original PM info on the sub back in Dec 2005

"it just uses the digital designs 9500 motor. I sent it back to resonant engneering because i wanted to try there hand at reconeing it. It has an 8 layer coil instead of a 4 layer. And hard spiders. Its made to handle as much power as a resonant engneering Mt because its using its coil. yes id recomend ported for it. as far as sq im not sure. i have not powered it up but i know a guy that has a 12 just like my 10 and i can ask him for details. before i sent it off i made sure it was worth it. he runs a visonik 4000 to it. and the sub loves it. that is 3500rms. "

yup thats a 9500 D motor. I have a question....why if you have a DD sub would you send it to RE and have them build it up? Why didnt you send it to DD who MADE the woofer and have them rebuild it for you? The reason i ask is b/c I wouldn't trust that thing EVER! There's a reason why RE makes thier own subs and DD makes thier own subs.....nevermind. THIS is why DD makes people like myself, a patron for over 14 yrs send them pics of a blown sub b/c people like you take thier shit and put in something else. No wonder it hasn't sold. If I bought it, I'd rip it completely apart and rebuilt it w/DD stuff, the stuff thats supposed to be on it. I'm not sure why I'm a lil mad but then I realize that stuff like this makes buying recones harder for honest DD people like myself, thats why I get mad.

nothing wrong with the sub in the OP at all......maybe its a money thing because RE likely charged him 150 ish and DD may have wanted twice that....

Wow, what a trip, I've never met anyone from Ramona even though it's local. The next weekend I will be in SD will be Feb 27th. I wouldn't mind meeting up and will kick in some subsidy for the favor. Some beers, lunch, cash, whatever we can work that out.

Meanwhile, does your grandma want a big *** sub, Masta Ace? =P

harder to sell a one-off SPL 10 with no matching pairs, but I've seen motors going for the price I'm listing at. It'll sell faster if I'd just ship it, but I'm not strapped for cash to go through the headaches of shipping a 50 lb sub just yet
