DD2512 vs. IA 187

i have a pair of 187s and i am considering a pair of 2512s from DD. what do you guys think i should do? should i stay with the 187s or go with the 2512s in my 94 extended cab ranger. i have a viper d1200.1 which would push either pair very well but overall, which woofers will be better for SQL? thanks for you guys' inputs

I would say the 2512's, but you really don't have enough power.

arent the 2512s 500wrms and d4? the viper puts out 1200wrms at 1 ohm...i thought it would be a good match or is there something i am not seeing?

I would talk to Bri487 about his 2500s.....He has a pair of tens. I forgot how much hes pushing to them...

2500 series drivers for 06 are rated to 600w rms each. They should do the job just fine.

thanks for the input guys. are they still ~200/sub with the discount (no dealer)? i called a long time ago but i havent checked on them lately. i love my 187s but i need something new... its time for change lol...well and the fact that since hearing my truck, everybody is trying to get 187s and i dont like to have exactly what 5 other guys have in their rides. different is good lol. thanks again guys
