Well, that is why I ask... electrical will be 12v setup with a 120amp alt and a pair of spiral gel cell batteries... I can always add a larger alternator but I doubt I'll go to a 16+ volt setup, and depending on how efficient the Z2 is I might be better off just using my MTX TA90021...

What do you guys think.. go for it or just stick with the MTX amp ?

The trade is for a pair of dual 1ohm 18" RE SX subs + a crossfire VR2000D... good trade ?

that should be a good trade the Z2 were built well also...I heard of very little problems with them

yeah i would do the trade and either trade the Z2 for another higher quality amp or 2..

ya do that trade for sure. that z2 will go like hot cakes on this forum or ebay so if you're not happy with it you'll have options.........more options than with the mtx........

i've never seen hotcakes for sale on these forums.

but those amps sure do go quick. i would def. do that trade.

I am hungry for hot cakes now.

The original DD Z2 can make well over 7K on 16v but on a 12v system for daily, it will struggle to make 4K.

They do draw alot of current.

For daily the new DD Z2LV is a much better choice as it is designed for 12v systems and will make 7K+ on a standard 12v system.

If you can get the original DD Z2 in that trade and then sell or trade for a Z2LV, that would be flippin sweet.

well, I talked to the guy last night..... I had mentioned I had my MTX amp and I guess that is what he wants.. trade is stalled ATM untill I can talk him into the crossfire amp or we agree on a cash amount along with my 18s...
