You can have a big ole motor and a hefty gap to accommodate a large heavy coil, still does not mean SQ. Higher power handling yes, SQ no. IF the op went with a lets say a single soft spider or two soft spiders with a spacer to help keep things linear on higher excursion then the woofer MIGHT sound better, but at this point its worthless to have wasted such a large motor to simply try and get "SQL" out of a purely SPL beast motor.</p></blockquote><p></p>
