from what i have heard of the LTs, a pair or two will be crazy loud and sound **** good doing it...good luck getting a tweeter to keep up with them.

i have heard that the screamers will be plenty loud to keep up. actually louisiana_crx is selling a pair of LTs for somewhere around 210 but dont quote me on that.

you need to go 3 way, or need a tweet to play down to 2khz (and still be loud), or go with the plain W6.5 (non LT). it will play a half octave higher (3k) before upper end roll off.

if too much is just right, then 2 in each door. 1 in each door will still get very loud. and don't wimp on the power. i'd run 200w each one.

not quite.

If you have horns or some real loud tweeters you will be fine.

The mids are great, they play loud. I own a set.

8 in the doors? why, that would cost about 1,200 dollars in mids alone, then you gotta remeber you need about 100-150wrms each. It's just an all around bad idea.

didn't even think about horns, that would solve the problem.

own 4 myself, only using 2. 1- IB in each door. proved to be all i need. hp xover @ 50hz and they beg for more than 150wrms. they get loud, they are just a lot more capable.

i am going 3 way. the upper end roll off of the LT, needed a bridge between it and a standard tweeter to achieve my sound goal. and i'm a fan of the warm sound of dyn's in the vocal range.

If I ever decide to go 3 way, like if I get an new headunit and a nice EQ, I will use them for mid bass, and build a nice little fiberglass ported enclosure for them with 1inch PVC so I can get my midbass nice and solid, but for now I plan to run just horns and these IB in the door.

2 is a little overkill (in my opinion)...but in a good way:naughty:

thats a single driver per front door

so 8 of them should be near 135 if (over)powered right
