Nm i just got a dc xl-18 and have never ran one of these subs. Im just trying to come up with a box layout for one. I have heard/read that these like smaller enclosures compared to most 18s for whatever reason. Dc website says like 5.5 cubes net(dont quote me, im at work and cant open their site but looked the other night and cant rember lol). but anyway.... all the info online states the amount of port for slot ports. any idea how much port i would need for a enclosure 5.75 - 6 cf net, using aeroports?

An 8" port needs to be 18.2" long for 5.5^3 box at 32 hertz

ok, but i dont tune that low. i tune around 37-40hz because thats my perfect medium of spl and daily (atleast for me). i dont even listen to anything really under like 35hz.
