wit? wat? Where do/did you go to school? DB wise you should expect what you put into it.

There is no telling. You have to take in to account the car and box position. Just take it and get it metered.

You can't get 2 ohms out of that setup.

With 1200 rms and a B15 you should expect 135-143 depending on what mic. Big ass box and ported you could do some damage.

I believe brahmas are dual 2 ohm. With that said you can either get a 1 ohm or 4 ohm load, not 2 ohms. Ohm load is determined by the sub, not the amp.

That's correct, I have that exact setup, minus the box. The JBL1200.1 wired to 1 ohm has been known to be unstable, however. If you're planning on a B15, I suggest going with a different amp.

I learned the hard way, I'm still waiting for my Brahma to get reconed after 3 and a half months.

Otherwise, it's the best sub I've had thus far, really good response, great sq for a 15. I really want it back.

lol i know it would be insane and i wouldnt be able to concentrate on driving....so u guys are tellin me that i cant wire the brahma at 2 ohm wit the jbl 1200? if so what other amp for under $300 would be good for the brahma?

There are a few out there around the 300 range that are one ohm stable at the correct power that you need. Brahma is 1600 watts RMS. Most likely, you won't even need that much power depending on the box you use.

The JBL amp is 1 ohm stable, but it puts out 1200 RMS at 2 ohms, and 1200 RMS at 1 ohm.
