Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King comes out the June 2nd i believe.

Here is a link to his album as of now. You must convert them from M4a to Mp3.

He has posted the songs on pandora so you can hear most of what he has come up with.

Youtube has quite a few videos of the band talking about this album.

I own most all, if not all, of Dave's albums. I listen to this guy in abnormal quantities. Once i got my first chance to listen to it, i was not impressed at all honestly. I love their jams and just use of all the intruments especially in their live concerts! After listening to these for a few days they have really grown on me. I will probably consider it one of their best albums.

X2 huge fan of DMB... Will be interesting to see what they do post LeRoi's death.

edit.. Live @ Luther with Timmy and Live @ Central Park are my 2 favorite albums of theirs. For some reason they are the one band that is better in a live setting then on a studio track.. Something to do with the freedom alotted in their band and the crowd helps to pick up the tempo...

Listen to more music. There are lots of bands like this.

I like Live at Luther quite a bit, probably cuz I was there. I grew up in Iowa and my best friend's sister was going to school at Luther College. The show was in a gymnasium and it effing rocked. Tim Reynolds is an amazing guitar player. Can't beat the solo in "What Would You Say" from that album. Incredible.

I think that the experience of a lot of people is limited to hearing the studio CD's. I am sure many would change their minds if they had the opportunity to listen to the live recordings. That's the only DMB I listen to.
