have no install pics as i dont personally have one in my car...supplier ran out as soon as i posted the ad so the one i had for my car i promised oxsign i'd have his...and ended up giving him mine since he had already commited to purchasing. you hook the positive lead to the remote wire of your amp...then the 2 negatives to the negative and then the remaining input positive to the positive of the amp...then only when your system is on does the volt meter come on and go off.....you can switch between amps and volts by the flick of a few of the switches...located on the back of the meter itself. sorry for the delay in responding guys....didnt really keep track of the thread cuz of the problems with my system. i'm back though and everything will be handled in a quick and orderly fashion.

do these have a max current draw read out, i know many amp meters have max of like 10amp, or 30 or so. and you said the switches are on the back of the meter can i get a pic of that?

yea if you want to switch from amp/volts...but most people will leave it at volts...

and unlike the stinger that only read out 1*.* this one is 1*.** so its more accurate in telling you your exact voltage. as far as the back switches..its 5 tiny white switches that i dont currently have a picture of...i'll be picking some up on thursday if anybody wants any let me know before 9 amthat morning so i know how many to pick up and have shipped.

Can't you just wire the + to your normal battery? should be the same voltage there as at the amp (well pretty close at least)
