Dash Lights and parking lights not functioning.

I installed a kenwood stereo yesterday in my Frontier. Everything was working fine. I connected the basics. No mute, no dimmer, just the speakers and power supply. Today My headlights turn on fine but the gauge cluster/ instrument panel will not illuminate. Any ideas on what could have gone wrong?
