Was thinking some kind of loop and a mesh door with a hook to put on the loop so I can detach it, but can't think of any kind of 'mesh' that would look good and be durable, any ideas? I like the diamond plate and velcro idea just want to brainstorm a bit!

Haha, wanted to put a few things in there since there's no other place to set things, like my plugged in phone to my headunit and my headunit remote or something. It'd just be nice to be able to use it since it isn't titled at all so shoots things into the cup holder every time the car starts moving.

Thanks @Bettr n&\#39; Revrse, I'll try that. What exactly is the index card for, spreading glue? And what glue would you suggest on the plastic dash that won't ruin it?
