Dampening installation???

I have a 98 Honda Civic with two FlameQ 12's... and it rattles the crap out of my car. I've been looking for dampening to put in my car but don't know a thing about it except dynamat is expensive and so is having it professionally installed. I've done some research and I think I'm going to get some second skin entry level dampening. I'm not going to pay to have it installed, I would like to do the job myself. How much dampening do I need to get my trunk to stop rattling, and how do I go about installing it? Do I only layer the sides of my trunk and leave the bottom undone or do I have to cover the entire trunk from top to bottom. Also, how do I apply the material to my trunk because the raising hatch has lots of ridges and felt covers everything else in my trunk. I really don't have a clue about doing this but, I would appreciate any advice you can offer.

Keep looking around for good install prices, i found a place that did the whole rear end of my car for $250 and that included the Dynamat. Plus dont be surprised if you still have some rattle in the end.

Entire trunk, top to bottom if you want the full effect. I say get 50Ft, but Anthony (owner of seconskin)might know better, he's got a civic too.

As for installation, wipe surface really clean (preferably with some non oil-based solvents), cut mats to size, apply, heat and use the roller to get maximum contact with the metal.
