I am going down to stay with a friend, during my spring break. She just moved there 4 months ago she is still a noob about the night life.

Not a big club guy, but what are some good bars to go too. Any strip or certain street thats a good time?

Any input would be great. Thanks

deep ellum is a kinda weird yet kinda cool place to go at night, but don't stray too far because it's in the middle of the hood.

I've been to Poor David's Pub for a couple of shows for Ian Moore, who's an awesome artist. It's on Lamar, and it was an ok place.

I'd also add that in Deep Ellum you'll likely get approached by guys claiming to be parking lot attendants, but you're better off just putting your money in the slot of the parking lot drop box. We gave some guy money once, thinking we were paying for parking, and then he just took off... we realized we got shafted.

stay away... texas and especially Dallas - Ft. worth area is the worst part of the Unites States even worse than North Jersey.

I have family there and let's just say that is the reason why I don't visit there often.

Not sure where you have been going down here. There are people who **** everywhere, just gotta go to the right places. The weather *****? It's mostly dry/sunny here for the most part, other then lately the weathers been crapper since its been raining and a little cold.

The west end isnt bad, Deep ellum is usually a good time. Hit up Addison to eat as it has a very nice selection of restaurants.

I personally like the weather here, the amount of money here is absolutely retarded and the whole metroplex is under going huge development even amongst the current nation wide trends. But I will give you the landscape *****. At least there are plenty of nice lakes around.

But to each their own...

I hear ya. Its the plains though and that will never change. Its a lot better than Nebraska's weather. I liked the weather overall best when I lived in Newport Beach, but the metroplex is a nice compromise of living conditions IMO. No place is perfect.

********, the houses out in dallas are all nice, and taken care of, well most of them. almost everyones lawns look green as hell and taken care of, and brick mail boxes, and the neighbor hoods look very nice, except in the ghetto ass areas

Well im going to make the best outta it regardless. Anyone else wanna shine in. I need bars / or must have food. I need to get my drink on
