As for the BTL it just snapped one of the tinsel leads of the terminal - its done it a couple times i think i may have it permanently fixed now after talking to scott about it a bit this morning //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i didnt get to go, i had problems with my install. My freind went and he got 3rd in stock 0-999 (i guess thats what the class is called) with 2 15"audiobahns sealed off of a memphis 1000 watt amp, he hit 140/141.xx i cant remember.

he said some guy was hatin on Fi bad out there. im actually kinda wondering if it was that extremesplokc guy becuase whoever it was sayin that they get really loud and sound amazing but they have a ton of problems like the cone falling apart and the tinsels burning up...

having said that, hes heard my sub now and thinks its a piece of shit b/c of that...when it walks all over his.

Nick did snap the second lead in as many days that night AFTER hitting over a 155 with 700 rated watts.

I said Fi is starting to sound like 'f'ing issues'. That was late and there weren't many people left. This isn't the first issue I've seen with 'em. Last I hear Fi won't be making the high excursion coils any longer(more). So far I've seen two sets of leads that have already worn through the top spiders as well, lack of felt pads have made NICE marks on cones, leads appearing burnt. It sounds like issues to me.

and my btl came with felt pads on the cones, and im hoping since im not puttin that much power to mine, i wont have those problems...

cone travel seems to cause most of the problems, not so much power.

04 edge...you are fine.

BTL 15s are great. The 12s with the HiXmax coil have the possiblity to get a little out of hand with lower notes and alot of power.

As far as the leads breaking could of been just soldered to tight. I mean Leads are Leads...its woven metal...nothing really special.
