Won't that silicone rot your suround if you dont let it dry all the way. In the pictures it looks like you sealed the box up and droped them right in when it was wet.

Having a life outside car audio FTW. The 'parking lot' install is just an assembly. That is not a daily system. I've got a good group of guys around that know how to get the assembly done quickly. The ports I shoulda had installed earlier, but they were in separate boxes from the 2-12 Mag experiment. Besides, who'd want to drive around w/let's see:

2 MT's - 67lbs. EA

Box - >70 lbs.

4 batts - 75 lbs. EA

2 20.1's - 24 lbs EA

1 40.1 - 35 lbs.

around 30 ft of 1/0

587 lbs before wire.

we only siliconed a thin bead around the tight-fitting aeroport holes(not actually applying silicone to the inside of all sides of a box), but yeah, not best-practice.
