Central Region ***DALLAS MEET Sat Oct. 1st***

IA,IL,IN,KS,MI,MO,MN,NE,OH,OK,TX,WI
When I had my meter I never tried anything below 35hz. Now you're making me want to try it:)

Maybe next meet Ill make sure I have some time to get out there and do some low freq. burps.

I do 150@35hz on the TL. Hopefully I can remain in the upper 140's with some 30hz tones.

WHAT that was u brian... wow what u do too ur XXX's? and ur did u get rid of ur MTX amps :_
MTX's are gone. Actually ended up selling three of them. Now running the Lanzar 4000D.

Sold the XXX 18 to a guy in Florida. He is running a pair of them in a Tahoe. Think he mentioned he has done mid 151's with them. I helped him with a box design that is 15 ft^3 tuned to 28-29 Hz.

I am running my Avalanche 15's from the HT in the suburban. I have (4) reconed Atlas 15's on the way for the HT. The Avalanches were too much in the house (like they are not in the suburban). Kept knocking things of shelves and walls //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I am going to bump the tuning on my box (second port with a removable cover) and get a new alternator. My voltage stays up pretty good with music, but it was dropping down in the high 12's with the test tones. Bumped tuning and more power should put me over the 150 mark.

Were you at the meet? Which one were you?

Brian

I was very disappointed you did not show. I was really wanting to see those 18" MT's in action!!!!

Maybe by the time I finally meet you, I can give you a good run. . .

One word....

WALL!

Nah..I like my back window too much. I've seriously thought about it though.
What about a half wall?

Honestly I dont see how your going to fit 4 18s with out a wall. I still want to meet you and hear your system...under 145db please //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I cant keep the batteries charged past 16 volts for too long..so I doubt it would do much over a 150, if any at all. Not sure if it's the step up transformer, or the alt..or both.

I suppose a half wall is possible..but then I start thinking.."What's the point?"

I dont compete or anything...and it's plenty loud for me as it is. But who knows... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
