louisiana, you mean the chrome? its not the bel air model. we have the bel air chrome in the shop, but we all agree it looks better without it.

this is the 3rd 55 we have owned since i was born...and my dad has owned around 20 total...idk chrome would be nice too, but he sais he got exactly what he wanted on this one

it looks very good...i like the ones that have the chrome strip in the back where they are usually two toned like sometimes white on the back half above the chrome...strip...i've saw models without the chrome down the sides...i didn't realize they were sold that way...i figured the chrome was bad and removed somewhere through the years...

yeah like i said. the model 210 was like the baseline. it was basically the cheapest you could get for the 55 chevy. its similar without all the bells, whistles, balls, or chrome.

Its a stock steering wheel, but the pics appear they make it look like foil wrapped LOL.. I'm sure it is black (I hope!?!)

They replaced the timing chain with a gear drive, thats the whine you hear.

thats what i was thinkin before i read it had the gear drive

and those cars are kinda boring with out the insert, thing just doesnt look right.

the paint is pretty bad. the guy didn't prep it right before he painted. its chipping in several places, and in some he even covered the paint chips with bullet hole stickers to prevent rust?... also on the molding on top of the windows you can see where the water collected and caused the paint to bubble and chip...

i dont know why but the pictures made the car look friggin awesome. not saying it looks bad, but if you saw it in person you would understand.

and as far as the burnout video - if i can talk him into it. otherwise im not touching that idea
