what does being in school, 22 or living at home have to do with me thinking it's okay to smoke weed? So if i lived alone, and I was 46 and working 40 hour work weeks then it would be okay for me to think it's okay to smoke weed? Regardless of how old i am or where i live i'll think it's okay to smoke weed once you are 18 and are willing to deal with consequences if caught.
It's not like i endorse the shit or encourage people to smoke it. I keep it to myself and people i know that dont smoke. I dont just start puffing randomly in front of everyone like other stoners do. There's a method to my madness.
even still I never disagreed with what my dad will say (which is no weed or get out) i'll gladly stop if that requires me to to stay in his house. Just thought i'd post it cuz some of these guys would get some laughs from it

I think it just boils down to the fact that it's his house, so if tells you to stop, you better stop.
He could get pretty pissed seeing as you don't have enough money to get your own place, but your wasting it (in his opinion) on weed.
Lastly, technically weed is still illegal (unless you live where medicinal is legal and you have an Rx) so your doing illegal activities in his house, which could get him into trouble. Also, it's kind of disrespectful...I mean before this, didn't you know that if your dad found out, he'd be pissed? He's doing you a favor by letting you live in his house rent free, and you thanked him by bringing in illegal drugs against his wishes.

I'm 20 and I live in an apartment on campus that my parents are paying for (live in Houston, school in Austin). When I'm not in school, I'm back at home. I don't see what the big deal is if you're in school and you live in home. In fact, I think it's retarded for parents to kick their kids out if they're in college - moving out by their own choice is completely different. To me, if a parent forces their kid to move out of the house while they're in college (unless there's some domestic issues) just for the sake of kicking them out, then the parents fail at raising kids. Both of my sisters lived in our house until they graduated college. Hell, one took 6 years to graduate because of bad choices but my parents never forced her out. Now they're both home owners, making more than my parents. THAT'S what I would call a good end result. If you're living on your own and pay your own bills, good for you, you're on your way to complete independence. That doesn't make you better than anyone else, though. My priority right now is graduating college so I can get a job, not living on my own and doing what ever I want - don't be mad cuz my parents support me.
