D1 or D4 what's the difference?

I'll be getting some recones for a pair of 10" and I need a final load of 1ohm. Both D1 & D4 will give me that, but whats the difference??? Power, cooling, etc????

Um, what?

D4 will wire to 1, 4 and 16(?).

D1 will wire to 0.25, 1, and 4.

Competition guys will often wire down to 0.25 for burps.

This will be daily and 2 subs. So all I need is a 1ohm load for my amp. So my question is What's the difference if they both give you the same 1ohm load? Is one better than the other?

No, I already posted what the difference is. It's because some competitors run 1 ohm daily with two D1 subs, then wire down to 0.25 for burping at comps.
