Is it interest?
Spoken by someone who apparently has never bought a CD, a bond, a T-Bill.
Someone who has never had enough money in a bank account to earn interest. .Someone who has never been able to secure a loan, or provide a loan.
Someone who knows nothing about finance.

And you think what you post here tells uys nothing about you.
Ha.
Is it interest?
Did you give up something in exchange for money, or did you do it for free?
I see, you are doing that ignorant shit you do that blinds you into arguing nonstop. Made up as in it only exist because someone came up with the idea. Not made up as in doesn't exist you glass licking moron. Do you see why it is so hard to talk to you? It's because like you said, you are stupid and I agree 100% as I literally just had to CLARIFY it for you.
So? Someone "made up" the idea of exchanging goods for goods, or goods for services.
Someone "made up" the idea of buying partial ownership in a company, by offering SHARES, in exchange for MONEY.
Someone "made up" the idea of words, and a language using those words.

Pretty much everything in our daily lives has been "made up", other than life itself.
WTF is the point you are trying to make, with your statement that interest is "made up"?
I know this.

Strawman, hypotheticals... Everyone already knows this shit. You are using vague examples to argue and not be wrong. Grow the **** up.
You think getting a raise at a job is a hypothetical or strawman (incorrect use of the word, BTW)?
You think a contract adjustment is a hypothetical or strawman?

Either you are completely lying about having a job other than pizza delivery, or you are showing us why you've never held a job for very long.

Rob you are off on some other argument. Being paid for services and earning interest is not the same. You keep arguing more and more so clearly that is your goal. You are refusing to listen or acknowledge anything so once again, go argue with yourself. No, this is not an argument won by you. It is rather a failure on your part to have even a simple conversation.

I'm afraid they are the same.
You are being compensated by someone for providing something to them.

You can provide your personal time, you can provide goods, you can provide your money.
In return for your time, you can get money.
In return for your goods, you can get money. You might even get the goods back. It's called "renting".
In return for your money, you get money, and you get your original money back. It's called "a loan".

Concepts of capitalism that you should have known by 2nd or 3rd grade.
I guess you never saw one of these as a child. Did you even get past 2nd grade?

So in your weird fucked up head, my weekly paycheck from work is an interest payment. Got it.

1. Your "weekly paycheck". LOL. Good one.
2. So in your weird fucked up head, you think the name matters when you are getting compensated by someone in return for providing something to them.

If you get "PAID" $200 for working 20 hours, or you get "INTEREST" of $200 for lending someone money, do you think the $200 "pay" is different from the $200 "interest"?
Do you not realize that you are "PAID" the interest?

What if you wagered $100 and "WON" $300? Would that $200 be different from the $200 "PAID" or the $200 "INTEREST"?

A rose by any other name is still a rose, genius.

Listen you cock eyed ****. If it were the same thing it wouldn't have a different name. Both are different functions. One is compensation the other is for the privilege of borrowing. Please, stfu.

I sure wish you would stfu with the "collective narcissism" phrase you keep over using. Incorrectly I might add.

"The left has created" is talking about another group. Collective narcissism is about one's own group. The two do not tie together like you are trying to force.

Collective Narcissism -

"Collective narcissism is a belief in the greatness of one’s social group, accompanied by a conviction that others do not appreciate the in-group enough." - Cambridge University.
I don't know why he would even think label applies to me since I am the second biggest Trump critic in the thread. Currently, the left is incapable of acknowledging they ever do anything wrong (aka collective narcissism). In this case, I didn't even accuse the left of committing a wrong. Just pointed out they have created a professional protester industry, which has been well documented. But Rob just has to be right...

There are videos of people talking about hiring protestors. I have seen them. Rob just wants to justify his blind hatred of Trump. Desperately at that.
