Pay attention to the important words. Words like "Who knows" and "maybe", "maybe, "maybe".
And "I presume we will find out".
Basic English, if it's your native language.

Charlie stated his belief. It's not really "live by the sword, die by the sword", but it's almost like it became a self-fulfilling prophecy. Or semewhere in between.

The theme has been used in movies a lot. The cocky guy says "I guess you'll just have to kill me". And the bad guy does it.

Unfortunately, I have to agree this won't be the end of the violence from the left. All the right wing debaters who were doing similar public appearances have said they're canceling them. Since "the algorithm" only reinforces your belief system, the left has effectively prevented conservatives from reaching out to young minds, thus restoring the left's near monopoly on young minds. With one fell swoop, the left took out one of the right's best debaters, organizers and fund raisers, while the "celebrations" simultaneously shut down the possibility of somebody stepping into that vacuum for sometime. I hate to say it, but this is a huge win for the radical left.

The left is soft on crime. Even for the worst crimes they are letting career criminals out. If Rob wanted to do some actual good for humanity, dig up the stats on how many violent offenders in blue states get released as apposed to criminals who committed far lesser crimes. The left is showing these criminals that if they commit the crimes against the people we tell you are evil, we will be easy on you.
