I remember at a bar 3 guys started in on me and I thought, "I just got drag this out long enough for my buddy (who was the size of a refrigerator) to get back from the bathroom." I hope so. I don't have a problem with calling someone a Ze/Zir, but that still presents the problem of how I am to know that a dude thinks he's a gal when I encounter zem? I do have a problem with them co-opting the language.

I'm all for increasing taxes to reduce the deficit/debt. Dems have always been for higher taxes; the question is, can Team Blue get behind Bad Orange Man on this singular issue or will collective narcissism over ride Team Blue's logic circuits?

I think Team Blue would be more willing to get behind Trump if he did things honestly, and wasn't such a piece of garbage.

He tells his followers that other countries will pay our import tariffs and this will reduce the deficit, and his followers believe. Team Blue calls bullshit, and you say that they just hate "bad orange man". And then Team Red is still defending his tariffs with "makes good liberal tears" or "nothing has changed" or "no one lost money when his announcement smashed the stock market by 10%" despite irrefutable proof to the contrary.

Maybe if he had said "We're going to jack up your expenses to pay down this debt that I increased by 39% in my first term, and almost $1 Trillion in the past 8 months ", Team Blue would not fight back so hard. At the very least, they couldn't call him a lying POS.
Instead, we get claims that the debt will be paid off by DOGE's work, that the debt went up more under Biden, that Biden was at fault for debt going up under Trump, and a wide variety of other bullshit claims.

Don't piss on us and claim its a sunshower. Just be honest, for a change.
