If I were to buy two sets of these for the front and back what amplifier would be good to run them and how should I wire them. All 4 on a seperate channel.... 2 channel bridged, ect..? However, In my truck I only have room for one more amplifier and it can not be that large either

if you can get your hands on a phoenix gold xenon x100.4, that'd be nice for them. maybe an us amps md42. from what i heard you'd probably want at LEAST 100 watts per channel.

well, recommended RMS is 100. i mean you could do like 75 but it wont get it to its potential. speakers can usually handle a bit more than they are rated at, people have put 150 rms to these speakers, watching the gain of course.

I was looking at the ed nine.4 but that is not nearly enough power i guess, I just want something that sounds nice, it does not have to sound super nice as I only have an RE 10" in my truck cause I cant fit anything larger

Keep in mind that the rated RMS power is not a power requirement.

If a 50w amplifier is enough power to make the speakers louder than your typical listening level, then you do not need to go with a larger amplifier.

x2

I demo'd the set on only 100w a side and was blown away. I just can't wait to hear these babies on 150

I have read some guys are running 250w+......

I myself use 150x2 as its seems to be plenty, best dam comps I have ever owned.

As for running them with an eD 9.4,forget it its way too small.........

Would putting the Crystal SSCS6 in the front and putting a set of Crystal SSX615 in the back be better or using two sets of the SSCS6's??
do the 615s in the rears if your looking for RAF,I personally do not prefer RAF

as it often pulls the music away from the sweet spot unless u have a large SUV

with passengers

hehe, didnt get to install them yet, free aired them only but was impressed of how deep it was compared to type Rs free airing.

I thought the tweeters was aiite; it was bright and clear as hell though, but wasnt too loud, this was only roughly 80 watts btw, i bet they shine at higher power:)
