Crystal SSCS 6 vs. Rainbow SCL 265 vs. CDT EF-61CF

Well ignore my previous thread.. heh.

Which would you pick?

I'm runnin a JL 500/1 amp to 2 JL 10W6V2 subs,

and im runnin a JL 300/4 amp bridges 150x2 to my components.

I might disconnect my rears or use them from HU but im not sure just yet.. ill see.

Which component set up would you choose if:

1) You enjoyed rock, alternative, pop, and sometimes rap

2) You wanted to FEEL the drums right in front of you for example: Marilyn Manson - Beautiful People.

3) Wanted a crisp clean sound but definitely not "shrill" with a large gain on a song like Christina Aguilera - Hurt

The SSCS 6 is rated at 100W

The Rainbows are rated at 100W

and the CDT rated at 140W

I assume all 3 would handle the 150W from the sub and ask for more?

I'm also open to any other suggestions, but these 3 seem to be well rated from the members here.

Most will say rainbow, but ill take the long shot and go CDT...i assume the door will be properly deadened before install?

Well.. i was thinking about sound deadening but my car is already really quiet..

I was thinking of putting it off until spring break, I'm guessing that's a nono? heh.

Sucks seeing my income go bye bye ;p paying for college tuition, going to pay for books, just bought this tiburon, spent 700$ on the subs/amps already.. and going to spend 200-250 more on components.. and then i got to think about sound deadening that's like $150 or more added on! :|

edit: all 3 should fit my car i assume? not positive on what the mounting depth my tiburon can handle.. it's a 6 3/4 slot but most 6 1/2 can fit in it.

uh, the EF's are almost 100 dollars less then the Rainbow's, how can you compare the two?

SSCS6's are rated @ 150w btw.

If you want to FEEL the drums, Crystal would be the way to go.

One of the dealers offers the HD's for about that price, but I have heard that they are very deep speakers and you can't mount them in stock speaker locations without modification? Im not positive though, thats just what someone said here.

well actually the CDT upgraded EF-61 is 200$ so i think it's comparable.. 480 crossover and tw-25 tweeter.

so i guess it was a fair comparison.

I say Crystal. Mine sound fricken awesome and handle every bit of 150w I'm throwing at each side. Some run even more to them but I don't see why.
