Calc 1?Calculus.
And, Ive taken Electrical Calculations which where I am is a variant of calculus. But, it mainly applies to the electrical side of things.
I'm in calc 2 now.Calc 1?If you have to take the same maths as I do, which I'm fairly certain you do since I know you need all that stuff for analyzing circuits, then you have Calc 2, Calc 3, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations to go.
Linear Algebra isn't that bad at all.I'm in calc 2 now.
The only thing that I'm scared of is Linear Algebra.
Differential Equations might get me. But I don't think its gonna be that bad.
I had to take calc because of engineering, everything up to diff eq. I hate diff Eq. Anyway, it makes stats and a lot of other classes super easy. If you look at a lot of Economics formulas and equations they are just derivatives or anti-derivatives of other things. When we had our exam last quarter we were allowed to have a formula sheet. Most people had a piece of paper loaded with shit they didn't need. I had IIRC 4 things written down. Everything else I either worked out our used calculus on the formula. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gifThe highest I have taken is Calc1, but the remaining are highly suggested for success in the PhD program I am in. Because I am just doing a master's in finance, Calc 1 is highest I need. 2nd derivatives is about tops as far as math goes.
Better than me...I am just so-so in math and would struggle.
sadly I believe I am.Lol, atleast you are a well valued employee //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
backups.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I hate doing backups...morning sucks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif back to the daily grind here. For all the science, engineering and physics classes I attened in college im now reduced to doing backups today. sad shit mang //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
Ive been working in the physics and engineering fields for years, and actually ive never used that much math beyond basic algebra. When we were doing superconducting magnetics research we just bought extremely expensive software like Algor and Stad so we didnt have to think as much //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifBut then again I am one of those sick and twisted people who like math and stats...
Think of it as a derivative but backwards. Like the derivative of x^2 = 2x the antiderivative of x = (x^2)/2.Usually, formula sheets are a waste anyway. Most people use the space to write down things they already know. I don't fill up the sheet because I know most of it.
I did forget to write a few things down for my test last evening: plowback ratio, internal growth rate, and sustainable growth rate...
I think I got them figured out.
I don't even know what an anti-derivative is...
