At a typical intersection, you are surrounded by other drivers that are distracted or not paying attention.

* 31% of drivers talk on the phone

* 81% listen to the radio

* 31% listen to a CD player

* Up to 88% are eating or drinking

* 27% have children passengers and 19% of those drivers are transporting kids in the backseat.

* 46% are putting on makeup, combing their hair, and looking in the mirror.

* 234567458% are constantly changing radio stations.

Which is why I don't let teh gf drive anymore, shit pisses me off

For each mile driven, there can be up to 200 events that you have to see and decide what to do. During that single mile, you will make approximately 20 decisions - decisions that tell your hands to steer, your feet to brake, or both.

Out of those 20 decisions, most drivers make two driving errors, that's one out of ten. Drivers make about two incorrect decisions per mile, which averages 48 incorrect decisions per day, per driver.

Heh

so after 2 yrs of dealing with a faulty air conditioner and heater and a variety of other on going issues that my landlords refused to fix or pay me for the repairs i made out of my pocket, I have told my landlord to fuk himself and am moving to a new house next week. anyone wanna come to tulsa and help me move??

Well, im in a shitty army motel in Fort Gordon, GA for the entire week. The drive down here sucked because of a few things :

1. Shitty rental car. Its an HHR and its possibly worse than a Geo Metro. Not even the rear door handle worked. It also had a door seal leak and it kept whisleing for 600 miles.

2. Wouldnt stop raining .... hard.

3. My TOMTOM one got me lost in Atlanta for an hour.

4. Followed an ambulance down a staight highway for 60 miles. Do you know how annoying that is to look at at night?

6. After 10 hours of driving and aformentioned bullshit, I get to my vip suite and it was 90 degres in there because someone left the heat on for god knows how long. And to top it off, the a/c didnt work. So they gave me a shitty room at another hotel on base. At least the a/c works here.

Did you bother to do a quick install of some deebeez in the HHR before you left? If not, Dan = fail.
