I am beginning to really think some of the fools really believe in that conspiracy crap. But here's the rub, even if it's all true-- then what? What are you going to do? Taking the don't give a shit approach does have it's merits.

I am a little curious as to the psychology behind the human interest in whacked out shit, such as conspiracy theories, bigfoot, etc. I have no doubt there are theories behind that phenomenon.

I'd support a universal language, be it English/Spanish/Japanese whatever. I suppose I don't have the attachment to language and culture that others do.

If I had attachment to my cultures, I wouldn't have time for anything else. I'd have to learn no less than 5 languages and the customs. Heinz 57 people can't claim cultures. For business purposes, I can get behind a de facto standardized language, but I think that individual languages/cultures should be protected as well.
