given the choice of these C2D processors, which would you choose. all 3 are the same price and very similar. I am not sure about which is better. obviously faster is better. but is the build quality the same on all 3?

First, all else being equal you'd want Wolfdale over Allendale due to the 45nm hopefully consuming less power, plus more cache is a bonus. With that being said I couldn't believe there were no price differences on these in newegg. Overlapping series FTL. I think the obvious choice to me for a desktop is the E7300. It's a wolfdale core and has the highest default clock.
