I had a "Change oil soon CONTACT DEALER" display come up on the EVIC at exactly 2500 miles yesterday. Went to the dealer for the first change (not because The Charger told me too, just wanted to do the first one there). Service tech. had to clear display by turning key on and pumping the accelerator quickly three times and then key off the clear it. That cost $50. 7 quarts at 4 bucks each for $28 plus the labor and disposal fees. I'll be looking for a cheaper change next time. Book says every 6 thousand miles or when the display comes on again. I hope it doesn't come on until 7500 miles at that cost.

I just changed to syn myself. Mobil 1 plus a filter it was like 30 something? but dang being charged 90 for it? jesus what'd you do take it to the dealer?
