The rep at BB says the Panny will recieve 1080i...

I am considering getting cable, believe it or not. They have a plan that is $14.99.

However, that plan is basically the same channels I get now...except no atenna required and the picture will be a bit better.

i see, well if it does 1080 thats a good deal (although i would make the salesman show me first)

and thats an HD cable package? $14.99/month?

The 500 comes with a plate amp. I like this company because you can get it all in one place.
They also have a 5.1 set that is reasonable at about $1,700. I just like the look of those reference speakers.

iirc they can be purchased as the raw drivers for $90ish a piece
