Well I still get a GM employee discount through my uncle. I also get a Ford discount and I wanted a cheap 4 cylinder gas mileage car, and liked the Focus better then the Cobalt.

I'd say 95% GM. The tech center isn't a single building. It's like a college campus with many different buildings. In my parking lot, I'm the only Ford. There is one Jeep and the rest GM.

What's interesting is, I'll be doing the exact same job my uncle was doing. Except he was making close to $40 an hour, and I'll only be making $18 an hour. Not much you can do. That's why I was hired. GM bought out all their current employees and start new ones at the beginning salary. In this area you have to take what you can get.
