currently, I refill her water 3 times per day...not because she doesn't drink it but so it will be fresh and clean or whatever.

Drinkwells ROCK!
My wife spoiled our first cat b y letting him drink out of the sink in the mornings. He stopped drinking from his bowl and she was routinely forgetting to shut the water off before she left for work. I bought this and he thinks it is a sink just for him. Killed 2 birds with one stone. I also bought the grass growing attachment for it. I highly recommend that water dish.
