The ones near me don't either, they all 4 year and tuition is high for those, my god:eek:

so a community college is my best bet, $6,000 for 2 year education isn't to bad, plus i might get a student loan for my books and shit, cuz i heard college books are really expensive.

I know Dev it's a big decison on decidin what where you want to attend and what u wanna major in.

Meh Ill probly stick with UMUC and just get a certificate. UMUC classes are $240 per SH. Ill be using my GI bill, but still have to pay up front, GI bill checks start coming in 2 months later. Well the 3 other colleges around me are decent kind of. Bowie and COppin are both pretty whack and morgan is great. All black schools. Then there is towson, and Uni of MD. MD has like 5 campuses. oh and loyola, which is all boys..... **** that shit.

It's weird though the certificates for community colleges are less credits i noticed, try more like 20 credits to 30 credits, but if ya have a degree ur looked up to more, "wow you got a degree!, u fit this job easy, ur hired" but it's not always like that in the job world these days, can be a waiting game ya know.

Applied at Lowes a week ago, dude said he'd call me next week for an interview, still no call back for the interview, i'ma give it one more day

lol no just boys colleges here at all, a few catholic colleges near the bottom of my state though.

and yeah that realtor has one ****ed up smile, house looks nice though Dev!

i'm off to sleep now, thanks for the college chat, was interesting, peace

The certificate programs are pretty much all 18 SH at MD. Pretty decent cuz that can be done in 3 semesters taking 2 classes a semester. yeah degrees are definitely worth more in the eye of the employer. Most of the jobs that I would consider doing require BA or BS. A few require AA. The only thing is, Im not a career type person. Id mostly be getting a degree or certificate to have a normal job for a while, or have something to fall back on. Like if everything goes to shit, I cant say yeah, ill just get start my career or something. What are you going to school for?

Ill guess you answer in the morning.

Im going to school to party.

and do some computer work or something.
