idk anything, i'm just looking for a good account that on average has good returns. My parents are in the kauffmen(sp) fund and are telling me that I should start putting money into something every month.

What are your goals and how often do you want to concern yourself with it? IE do you want something you put money in consistantly, or a particular strategy which you think may result in higher yield in 5 years?

Probably the first option, I have a lot of time and I will probably put $100 or so in every month.(is that enough?)

Shorter time horizon, so I can take it out anytime in case something comes up. Never know whats going to happen.
